Tally & Mesa is an independent accounting, tax and advisory practice. We keep your books current every month, run payroll, plan your taxes ahead of the deadline, and sit in as a part-time CFO when bigger decisions come up.
Take one or combine them. Because the same people do your books, payroll and taxes, nothing gets lost between handoffs.
Every transaction categorized, every account reconciled, and a clean profit & loss and balance sheet in your inbox each month.
Business and owner returns prepared on schedule, with planning conversations during the year so filing season holds fewer surprises.
Pay runs, pay stubs, year-end forms and the filings that go with them, handled for small teams and growing ones.
Cash flow forecasts, budgets and a standing meeting to talk through hiring, pricing, financing and what the numbers are telling you.
Most new clients are fully set up within a few weeks. After that, you get the same rhythm every month, so you always know what's coming.
A 30-minute conversation about your business, what's working and what's keeping you up at night. No cost, no pressure.
A plain-language proposal with a fixed monthly fee. Once you say yes, we connect your accounts and gather what we need through the portal.
If your books are behind, we bring them current and set up a chart of accounts that matches how you actually run the business.
Books closed and reports sent by the 10th, a short list of questions when we need you, and a check-in call whenever you want one.
Before deadlines and big decisions, we sit down to look ahead, not just back.
Many business owners pay federal estimated taxes four times a year. Pick a year to see the usual due dates and which one is next.
General information only. Due dates move to the next business day when they fall on a weekend, and can also shift for holidays or declared disasters. Whether you need to make estimated payments, and how much, depends on your situation. Ask your preparer.
Clients get a private portal instead of a pile of email attachments.

Thirty minutes with someone from our team, by video or at our Phoenix studio. Pick a topic and a time that works for you.
You'll work with the same few people every month. They'll know your business well enough to notice when something looks off.
Runs the owner meetings and forecasts, and likes nothing more than a cash flow plan that holds up.
Keeps the calendar of deadlines and turns tax season into a series of short, scheduled conversations.
Leads the close each month and writes the short notes that come with your reports.
Sets up new hires, runs pay periods and answers the "why is my stub different" questions.
Team members are fictional, for this website concept.
Don't see yours? Ask it on a free consultation.
No. Many clients never visit the studio. Everything works through the portal and video calls, and we're happy to meet in person if you're in the Valley.
A fixed monthly fee based on the services you choose and how complex your books are. You'll see the number in your proposal before anything starts, and it doesn't change without a conversation first.
Yes. Catch-up work is common. We'll scope it on the intro call, bring things current, and then move you onto the monthly rhythm.
We work in the major cloud accounting tools and can usually keep you on what you already have. If a switch would help, we'll explain why and handle the move.
For clients, yes. That's part of the relationship. For everyone else, a consultation is the best place to start, since good answers depend on the details of your business.
We're a Phoenix practice built for the businesses that keep the city running: trades, studios, clinics, shops and service companies.
